We are proud to announce that Bang Creations’ founder, Stefan Knox, has brought together industry leaders and educators to create the Design Compass - a guiding framework for sustainable innovation. The Compass is the north star of Bang’s design process, embedding sustainability into every stage of development.

Now, in partnership with the Design Council, the Compass is set to take another major step forward. At the World Design Congress on 9th September, it will launch the integration of the Design Council’s Skills for Planet Blueprint directly into the Design Compass.

This powerful combination connects the Skills for Planet knowledge base with the practical application of the Design Compass, making it easier than ever for designers, students, and businesses to:

• Apply sustainability skills on live projects
• Identify and grow the capabilities needed to design for both people and planet
• Access real-world case studies that show Skills for Planet principles in action

By embedding the Skills for Planet Blueprint, the Compass not only guides sustainable decision-making but also helps users develop the skills they need to deliver real impact. Case studies will appear throughout the Compass, aligned with each skill area, bringing the principles to life through practical examples.
