Bang's Founding Director and Inventor Stefan Knox enjoyed speaking about product design, development and commercialisation to their biggest audience yet at a 'Create, Innovate Protect' seminar hosted by the Intellectual Property Office in London recently.

Held at the impressive British Library conference centre at King's Cross, the 200-strong audience enjoyed talks on intellectual property, patents and trade marks together with an overview of the tremendous research resources and related services that the Library provides.

As guest speaker, Stefan then covered what he has learnt over his 20 year career as an inventor, designer, entrepreneur and consultant. He went through Bang's preferred product development process, the importance and relevance of intellectual property and of seeking the right advice at the right time particularly when it comes to patents.

He then gave a selection of case studies to demonstrate his reasoning and left the audience with no doubt as to the importance of market research, the right IP at the right time and the fact that you can make anything but only marketable products sell.

Feedback was typically positive and Stefan and the Bang team were inundated with people thanking them for the talk and asking where and when they could learn more.

Bang would like to sincerely thank the IPO and the British Library Business & IP Centre for organising and hosting the event and for everyone else for attending.
