Bang's first formal workshop in association with the British Library Business & IP Centre proved a great success.

Run at the Business & IP Centre and co-hosted by London IP, the 3-hour workshop titled 'What next for your invention - plan, prototype or protect' was well attended and well received.

Alan Ward, Bang's commercial director, commented: 'it is notoriously difficult for businesses, early-stage entrepreneurs and inventors to get good advice as to how to take an idea forward from establishing a market to approaching it.'

'Considered, constructive product development, IP and commercialisation advice sought early can often make the difference between success and failure - it can also help ensure that money is spent wisely and carefully and thus deliver maximum value.'

He continued: 'We were delighted to receive so many delegates and such positive feedback - hopefully the Business & IP Centre will enable us to run it regularly and to perhaps supplement it with further workshops focussing on 'preparing for market' and then 'taking it to market.'
